Humor yourself with this one

Before we left dialysis on Friday, Dr. Ben asked me to start Max on a phosphorus supplement because his is too low. I have to laugh!

Anway, I am working on a Q&A post with some of the most popular questions we get regarding Max. Now is your chance to ask those questions that you may have been wondering about. They can be about anything, whether it be about Max, our family or our life in general. Leave your question in the comment area and I will post the answers.

I have also been very interested in knowing how many of you are following the blog. So if you don't have a question, leave a message just saying hello. Let's see how many hits we get!

Have a great rest of the week everyone!

Hi Beth!

It's Andy Pentenburg, and I check your blog every couple of days. I think that you should write a book using your blog entries. See you in November!

I know Max's growth has been a big concern for you. How is is growth doing?
Out of curiosity, where does he fall in the percentiles?
Where do you need him to be for his procedure(s)?

I check your blog just about every day. And the pass any major updates on to my husband and my mom, who ask for the updates if I go too long without telling them.

I check in eveyday and occasionally post a tidbit of wisdom (or lack thereof).
I know quite a few of the "Brossart Family" follow Max's progress via the www.bmustangs website.

Check in every few days to see Max's progress. You do a beautiful job of portraying your feelings. Sometimes I am in awe especially when I see your little angel's face. He is beautiful. Sometimes I cry, not with sorrow, but with joy of an accomplishment which you, Max or Tim have made. I will continue to keep each of you in my prayers and will continue to read this blog. God Bless you. Sandy Lyle

I am a friend of Lori's that has followed your story for quite some time. I gain a ton of strength from your son and what an amazing little guy he is. Hopefully I can give something back to him one day. I think my biggest question was when you guys could give Max a sister or brother to be big brother to, which I think you answered the other day. Many prayers for Max, and one day, his many siblings :)

Tim, Beth & Max - you three are in our prayers often and there are many times I look at my two girls and wonder how we got so lucky and why you have had such a hard journey as parents. I know though, that Max has two wonderful parents who have given him the very best over the past 2 years. May God bless you all as you go forward in your journey and approach the big day of surgery. I check in often just to see how things are doing and I think of you every week when I pass your house to drop Mer off at Mamaw & Papaw's house! Take care! You don't know me but I was one of Lori's roomates in college. We follow the blog everyday to see how our little hero is doing. My three year old still talks about Max's benefit and we pray for "Baby Max" as she refers to him daily. We are excited about the phosphorus news and will continue to pray for all of you. God bless you.

Beth, Tim and Max. We check out the blog every couple of days and keep him in our prayers daily. Charlie prays and asks about Max on a regular basis. I love watching the videos. They seem to put life into perspective.

I have a few questions:
Could you refresh us with some simple definitions of some of the medical terms when they come up?

When is Tim going to post a comment?

Share some of the most memorable moments you have had in this journey that you don't believe you would have had if Max was born without his condition.

I still get chills thinking about the sold out benefit, all the people, all the donations and the strong feeling of love. How did that experince touch your lives?

What did Max do today that made you smile?

Thanks for keeping us posted Beth. You are an inspiration to me. You are such a strong woman, and Tim you are amazing too, it is an honor to have you in our family. And Max, your the man! Stay strong!

With love and prayers.

Hi Beth, Tim, and Max!! I went to kindergarten with Tim and we got in a fight in the sandbox. Can't believe I still remember that one. Anyway, I follow the blog from Jessica Wells' emails. Have a beautiful 9-month old girl myself, so I've been captivated by your story (and all things mommy). Your life as a family is an inspiration.
