Favor to ask

Chunky Monkey

6 months ago was Max's first birthday party and I am just now getting around to asking you all to do this. I had a photo album with cards for people to write a little something to Max that he can read when he gets older. Of course it started raining on the day of his party and it got thrown in the house and forgotten about. So here is my favor.

I was wondering if all of you (those that were at the party and those that were not) would leave a little message in the comment portion of this blog. It can be anything you want Max to know about, wisdom, encouragement, anything. I will then transfer your message onto the cards that I made and place it into the photo album with the pictures from his party.

I would greatly appreciate all of you doing this. I look forward to Max learning about all of you that have prayed for him from the beginning and I think this would be a great way to document all of your wonderful comments for him.

Thank you everyone :o)

Happy Halloween!!!

I just wanted to send a little message about how special of a guy you are. You have touched so many people. I pray that you will grow up to experience many joys and laughter in your life. Just know there are many people behind you and your family. You are very much loved by all. Lots of love and prayers,

Max,

Happy Birthday! I just wanted you to know how you have touched the lives of so very many people. Not only are you evidence of God's work in your own life, but the way your story has worked in the lives of others is another testament to God's miraculous grace.

Much love & prayers,
Jason, Jodi, & Jena Geiman

I have never met Max or his parents, received his name on a prayer list, and have been praying for all of you ever since, following along all the ups and downs of his life so far.

You continue to be in my prayers ...

Mighty Max,
You are an inspiring little boy who is blessed with loving parents, grandparents, family, and friends. We pray for you and your mommy and daddy every night. Your smile is contagious. Max, always know you are loved by many people and bring so many people together in prayer.

Max, though I've never met you, you have been so much a part of my life this last year and a half, ever since your Grandpa Larry directed me to your website.
You have so many people rooting for you, praying for you, and concerned about you.
Without knowing it, you have served as an inspiration to those of us with minor maladies to man up, and soldier on.
You've got the most contagious smile of any young guy that I know.
You rallied our community behind you, drawing the largest crowd to ever attend a benefit event at our high school. Hundreds of fans and well-wishers cling to every word posted on your website.
We all too, want to see the day when you graduate from high school, when for the most part this will all be in your past.
You are the luckiest little guy alive, to have parents that truly love you, and will go to any ends, to assure your survival and well-being.
As you are reading these comments, you probably have only faint recollections of the ordeals you endured in order to make it to this point.
Congratulation to you, you are indeed a warrior, and a very, very special person!!!

Mighty Max,

I have deliberated for days on what to write to you. Should I start with how much of an inspiration you are to so many, or should I talk about what a fighter, you are or what a cutie you are? I could also go on and on about your parents and how strong they are and how much they love you. You have impacted the lives of so many around you. You have never met us either but you have touched my family's life in such a special way. We read your postings daily and pray for you as often. You have a special place in the hearts of so many. Keep up that awesome smile and fire to fight through the challenges that come your way. I can't wait to read the postings that say you have graduated...gotten married...have children. May God continue to bless you each and everyday.
